چکیده
We study proliferation of an action in a network coordination game that is generalized to include tractable, model-based measure virality make it more realistic. present new algorithms compute contagion thresholds and equilibrium depth prove their theoretical properties. These apply arbitrary connected networks starting sets, both with without virality. Our are easy implement help quantify relationships previously inaccessible due computational intractability. Using these algorithms, we the spread scale-free 1,000 players using millions Monte Carlo simulations. results highlight channels through which may networks. development and implementation of an optimized control strategy for induction machine in an electric vehicle
in the area of automotive engineering there is a tendency to more electrification of power train. in this work control of an induction machine for the application of electric vehicle is investigated. through the changing operating point of the machine, adapting the rotor magnetization current seems to be useful to increase the machines efficiency. in the literature there are many approaches wh...

We consider the propagation of a contagion process (“epidemic”) on a network and study the problem of dynamically allocating a fixed curing budget to the nodes of the graph, at each time instant. We provide a dynamic policy for the rapid containment of a contagion process modeled as an SIS epidemic on a bounded degree undirected graph with n nodes. We show that if the budget r of curing resourc...
متن کاملOn the Spread of Influenza by Contagion
Until the occurrence of the epidemic of influenza in 188990 very few living physicians knew from personal observation anything about the disease or its method of spread. They had, therefore, to rely on the teaching of the past, and I think many of them attached almost implicit reliance on the statements of Sir Thomas Watson, many of whose observations they have been able to verify in the case o...
متن کاملInformation Contagion: n Empirical Study of the Spread of News on Digg and Twitter Social Networks
Social networks have emerged as a critical factor in information dissemination, search, marketing, expertise and influence discovery, and potentially an important tool for mobilizing people. Social media has made social networks ubiquitous, and also given researchers access to massive quantities of data for empirical analysis. These data sets offer a rich source of evidence for studying dynamic...
